Trish--thank you for your comments----the statue is of a cherub that my neighbors left me when they moved---was going to use my stone griffin, but went with this.
David, I love the way you capture the light. This place seems really peaceful. Who is the statue?
Thank you Denise for you comments.
beautifull light and colour
Thank you Nora----just get them out and throw a little on the canvas.\
I have yet to try oils again but seeing these makes me want to get them out again, love that mellow yellow glow you got David
Thank you Michael--nice to hear from you
I love the sense of light in this, David.
Thanks Karen
Light is good here, and at this time of year, there are always long shadows---the Pumpkin, from Thanksgiving, is sitting a little further over and slowly rotting and sinking into the ground---this one went a little too far for a pie, but I did make 2. Was going to mail you a piece, but you know how they are about stamping a package fragile all over.
Ah these are fabulous David.....It looks like you guys get some great light in winter...and not too far from home - you can keep an eye on your pumpkin pie, while painting in the park :)
