Oil on board. On a cold Sunday afternoon....I found myself at the Head of Our Lady's Island Lake. Spotted this beautiful orange litchen coated rock - had to paint it !!

I have often wondered would a rock covered like this make a subject in its own right but the distant scene supports this so well - love the colours
