Not to mention meeting new friends like Karen and the Sepa crew who have shown nothing but kindness to 'strangers' who have wandered into their midst!

You're right, you know--being there---fun

Absolutely not.  I enjoy the painting sessions but have no intention of inflicting my 'art' on anyone! To be out enjoying is more than enough!

And thank you Deidre

Geraldine

Thank you for your very complimentary words-----and I trust the only packing you have done is your car for the next paint out there.

Ah David...............I was planning to take my brushes tomorrow to introduce them to 2012.... but looking at this beautiful work makes me wonder if I should just pack them all away in the attic!  ...umm.. that reminds me, maybe I'll just do a quick self portrait and leave that in the attic as well!!!

These are about 45 min. away--not too far--Jug Bay is a wetlands preserve,  so you get changing tidal flows--this was later in the day when that nice warm light hits the side and gives those long great shadows.

And thanks Karen--I really enjoyed painting this one
