Plein Air painting of Melling Church

This is a beautiful spot on the canal bank with Melling Church in the distance, Melling is in Merseyside.
This particular stretch of canal to the left of this position takes you to Maghull and then onto Lydiate, it is quite a distance to walk when you are loaded with Plain air equipment but it is worth it especially on a sunny day with the canal boats and all their colour and fields…well worth a painting trip
