Thanks Karen. All I remember about that paint-out is being eaten alive by the midges later in the adternoon. I've remembered since to cover myself with insect repellant before venturing down there. I think it may really come into its own as a painting venue during the winter, when the bare trees allow more light to filter through.

Newbay nearly drove me "round the bend", last time I tried to paint there!! Dull weather didn't help though. It's a real challenge, and you've captured the place perfectly. Well done, and good luck with your exhibition during the festival!!
