Elaine
Thanks---I'm very excited to be traveling abroad to paint. Shenandoah Valley is a fine place to paint

Wonderful! Seeing Annapolis caught my eye. I grew up in Bethesda, MD, and used to go to Annapolis now and then. Haven't been there in a while, but I love the old historic part, and down at the water area. We've had the heat too, down here in the Shenandoah Valley of VA. This is very nice! I'm envious that you are going to go over and paint with this fine group of people! Hopefully next year I can go! Have fun!

Yes. The week days leading up to the Festival we have a number of informal paint outs that our group SEPA will host. If you are here early enough to participate, they'll provide a taste of the surrounding countryside .I can email the list to you as son as they've been confirmed.. We're known as the "Sunny South East"..hopefully we'll live up to the title!!!

Well sounds nice there. Regardless of weather, I excited about painting there. Was there something going on before or after the actual event--small groups getting together--something just in the back of my head I read.

It's been exceptionally good this past week. Bit cooler today though with temp. at 56F. wouldn't be very humid here. A really fine day today. During the summer it would be 80 F, but that's not a common event!!

Well the temp now is about 90 F --and humid. But last week I had to paint in a windy rain at about 70F. spring changes a lot, but Summer can be a constant swamp. What is the temp at that time of year.

Is the weather over there pretty constant? How do you think you'll handle the changeable nature of Irish weather??
