"A Work of Art", 11x14 Oil
"A Work of Art" is my attempt to paint a quick portrait of my daughter painting a plein air landscape while we were vacationing on the Gulf of Mexico a couple weeks ago.
She mostly paints portraits and figures --so it added a bit of "artist's irony" to the painting and made it more fun for me. (No one other than the two of us got the irony, but that just made it more intimate, meaningful and special to us!)
