This is so lovely!  I will have to find the video that Sally mentioned.  I too love to watch other artists mix their paints.

Thanks Sally.  Yes it is interesting to see how others paint (alarming to see oneself)  so I tried to capture  a long take.  I was the cameraman actually, just holding the camera but couldn't see exactly what I was filming

These are wonderful paintings, Andrew.  I love your treatment of the tree trunks.  I also love your painting of the copper beech.  And thank you for your video.  Special thanks to the cameraman who showed  us you mixing your paints on the palette.  So often the camera skips over that bit - just the bit I want to see.
