Snow Field, Coolree, Wexford

I painted this from my back garden, during the post-Christmas snow. It was great to get both snow and sunshine. A couple of Irish coffees were required afterwards!

Comment by Michael McGuire on March 1, 2010 at 9:13: Thanks Elaine. Yes, the painting you are thinking of is "La Pie". It's in the Musee d'Orsay in Paris. I'm a big fan of Claude Monet's, but I wasn't trying to copy his painting here, well at least not consciously anyway!
