Your Site For Artists Who Paint Outdoors

Extreme Plein Air - Your tales of the perils of painting outdoors!

Ok, so you think you're tough....!
We may not have Californian sunshine as often as we might wish but perhaps we should give thanks that we in Ireland don't have the level of bugs and other pests some of our fellow artists have to contend with when they step outside the comfort of their studios.

But what about those dangerous critters who sneak up behind you and insist on telling you about their auntie who paints too. The bear spray might work though!
My biggest pest was when I looked back to find an alligator staring at me from ten feet away... and to think I originally laughed at the sign that said "Do not feed the alligators".
