Amboise/Normandy

We will travel by Coach, picking up on the way, Portsmouth – ST.MALO overnight, cabin included, on  BRITTANY FERRIES leaving at 20.15 on the Sunday and return on the Fast Ferry from CHERBOURG at 17.00 on the Tuesday arriving 19.00.

I have taken an option on en-suite rooms for five nights in a river front Hotel in AMBOISE the last home of Leonardo da Vinci on the ever seductive Loire, this will give us access to CHENONCEAU, TOURS and BLOIS and DOUAI ZOO plus countless wineries for nose tickling Petillante, earthy reds and elegant rose` wines. Just lovely, darlings. This followed by three nights in a very basic Hotel in CABOURG a bustling Belle Epoque resort on the vast beaches of the Normandy coast, - HONFLEUR a day trip and BAYEAUX, (for Retail Therapy and THE TAPESTRY) or PORT en BESSIN on the last day.

IN THE AMBOISE HOTEL there are two standards of room therefore different prices – so first come first served
