Meet in the cafe at 11.00am for a cuppa.
There is architecture, sculptures and people watching to be seen and sketched. No wet media allowed, but I got over that last week in the National Museum by using a squeezy water brush. No loose water.
It'll be nice to get back out when the weather has warmed up a bit, but for the moment, out of the cold wind is good.

We were a small select group today. Sorry that I didn't post this up as PEBV - have to figure that out.
Nice to meet David today.
I ended up in the sculpture gallery, sneaking a flat bottle of water into my pocket to dip from. I forgot my squeezy brush.
An Italian student cheekily asked me to draw a picture of her, and I did so as she amused me with her chutzpah. All her friends crowded around, and later the teacher came back to thank me.
The attendents came up to see what I was at, and they studiously ignored the fact that I was using water. I'm a neat worker when I have to be.
I use that pentel water brush a lot, if you bring along a bristle brush to loosen up your watercolour pans then it is quite easy to manage for small sketches. David Bellamy uses them for beautiful pencil sketches, he puts a very dark watersoluble pencil "Patch" on a spare piece of paper and lefts darks from that. He paints in all weathers though - http://www.apvfilms.com/show_product.asp?id=108
