Here is a basic translation of the Terms and Conditions:

The Department of Culture of the City of Grazalema, announces the
9th Annual Pintar Rapido Contest to all those artists who wish to participate.

TECHNIQUE & THEME: Any technique. The theme will be " Grazalema and its environment."

SUPPORT: To be mounted on stretcher or other rigid material, any size, paintings will be presented on Contest day from 08:00 to 09:30 hours in the City of Grazalema ,to be stamped. Only one per contestant is allowed. After this process you can begin.

MATERIALS: Each participant to provide his/her own materials.

REGISTRATION: In the Department of Culture Department preferably before 14 hours of June 6, 2014 .

DATE OF THE EVENT: Saturday 7th June 2014.

HANDING IN: Participants will present their works at 5pm on the same day, in the Plaza de Espana. Works submitted later will be disqualified.

JUDGING: Will be concluded by 7pm on the same day and works publicly displayed in the Plaza de Espana.

JURY: The jury will consist of people respected in the Arts and their decision in the matter of awards is final.

First Prize:   €1.000 Euro
2nd Prize:    € 600 Euro
3rd Prize:     € 400 Euro
Local Award:€ 150 Euro

Appropriate taxes will be applied to prizes. The winning works will be property of Sponsors, acquiring all rights on them. The award winning pieces will be removed after the exhibition. Participation in this event implies full acceptance of these rules and the decisions of the jury and agreement to waive any claim.
