I sometimes forget how difficult it was when first painting outdoors, and I made a lot of mistakes . There are many forces at work to distract us, and it can feel very daunting.
The aim of this workshop is to FastTrack you , towards building your knowledge and confidence, in order to set you on your journey . You will find out, quite quickly how Plein Air Painting can become a Passion ! Aimed for beginners to intermediate levels. It will be fun, informative, and I suspect addictive !
Karen Scannell has over ten years experience in Plein Air Painting. Originating with her involvement with Art In The Open,, Wexfords' Plein Air Painting Festival, working on the Committee for four years, facilitating workshops for the Festival, and arranging regular paint outs for SEPA (South East Plein Air) group. She has taken part in many Plein Air Festivals and received awards for her work in Wexfords AIO, Berlin/Brandenburg, and Annapolis Events. She is a member of South East Plein Air Wexford, and Plein Air Washington, USA. She was invited this year to paint at an Event in China, which unfortunately she couldn't attend.
