Gaeltacht thiar tir chonaill, .....introduction and demo to plein air painting

Come join us in the fun and free demo this coming Saturday in Letterkenny Regional Cultural Centre , at 11 am till 1pm. This is part of the 20 th  Annual  Bealtaine  Festival .2017.

Demonstration will be given by (art teacher ) mary Toland, who will guide you through all the stages of putting a painting together.From composition, The rule of thirds, simple perspective, thumb nail sketches, colour, value, and plenty more tips on materials, supports etc etc ....

The aim of this workshop is to inspire people to take out their paints and experience some relaxed fun and creativity in an atmosphere where people of all abilities are encouraged  "to give it a go " Not to be missed.

Followed up by a visit to  the  Library in Letterkenny Main St, where the Ghealtacht Thiar Tir connaill plein Air painters are exhibiting their paintings , of scenes from all around Donegal and its environs.....Well worth a visit.
