Event Description

This Saturdays paint out is in the stunning Ards Friary, which is part of the Bealtaine Festival. Ards Friary was built in 1708 and taken over by the Capuchins in 1930.... is set in over 200 acres of forestry .At this time of year , if we are lucky we might be able to capture the blue bell s in all their glory, or the stunning views over looking golden beaches with views towards the Downings, or maybe it's the grazing cattle, or walk ways that interests you ..... there is surely something for everyone to enjoy.

Meeting up at 11am in the friary carpark, and as the cafe is not open until noon, you could actually spend that hour finding your spot to paint.

This event is open to the general public as part of the Bealtaine Festival, so be on the look out for potential artists to join in the fun.

Location for lunch can be decided after the paintout.
