super - tegel would be great - i am so happy that you attend - better also for organizing the bustransfer to himmelpfort and no long walks from train to station for svetlana for the berlin visit - made also a big michaels rock version of the aito painting at the fair - 50 x 90 cm on board -

Just looked at the flight options again. If we go Aer Lingus, it's the 7-15 am flight to Berlin on Sunday 1 May and the 10-15 pm return to Dublin on Sunday 8 May (there is no earlier Aer Lingus flight to Dublin). Also looks like Aer Lingus are using Tegel Airport this year, which should make for a shorter transfer to/from Himmelpfort. Can those of us who are definitely going agree on these flights and then book them?

Hi Svetlana. Last year we just paid Marko/Nikolai (cash) when we got there. I presume it will be the same this year. And there is a great train service from nearby Furstenburg to central Berlin (hourly and about €10), so you can get someone to drop you to the train station and then spend the day in Berlin, assuming you take the evening flight home. BTW, there is a place to leave a suitcase for the day in the main railway station in Berlin (costs €6 I think) and there is a frequent train service from there to the airport. But as Valerie says, it involves a lot of walking (there is quite a walk form the train to the airport check-in desks).

Yes, Michael, I was  in Curracloein with a South East Plein Air Group paint-out   last June.

I looked Aer Lingus flights. The price is 122. I want to spend a day in Berlin on the return way.  I can be alone , but I'll be happy to have any company.

How did you pay in Himmelpfort? By cash? On the place or earlier?
