This week its out of the cold to see the latest exhibits at Collins Barracks but there are plenty of subjects around the general area of Collins Barracks for sketching too. . Plenty of public transport by rail, bus and Luas, car parking on site is pay and display. Meet at the Museum Cafe at 11am
There is an exhibition being run in conjunction with the Hugh Lane titled " Studio & State: The Laverys and the Anglo-Irish Treat
It is listed on the Hugh Lane site and I read it as being actually on display in Collins Barracks but I will double check that tomorrow as it looks like a good exhibition.

Norah that was an interesting day today thank you for organising it and a wise move to avoid the plain air while the weather was so cold. If eagerness to do a portrait is a measure of the success of the day then it was a successful day as far as I am concerned. It was encouraging to see that one or two of the portraits weren’t perfect.
The exhibition "Studio and State "is at Collins Barracks so no changes to meet up arrangements.
I'll do my best to be there. Good to get started again!
Crap I have to go to Carlow, Next Time
