farm animals and the ruins of a medieval tower house, Lanestown Castle.
Don’t worry about the weather. Should it come on to rain the Festival of History will be in full swing at Newbridge House There will be talks and a tour of the House. At 2.30 Hugh O’Donnell looks at the role of 1916 Ireland its effect on other peoples struggling for independence. From 3.30 - 4.30 there will be a talk on Life in Newbridge House during those traumatic years 1914 -1918. Admission is free.
