A member of the highly respected, 'Wapping Group' who regularly meet to paint along the River Thames, Kent artist Michael Richardson is a dedicated and skilful outdoor painter who loves to travel the world and to paint. An experienced yachtsman, he is particularly drawn to coastal scenes but would be equally at home painting a nocturne in St. Mark's Square, Venice, or Westminster in the snow. Michael has arranged many overseas painting trips for groups of artists, the latest being a trip to France in June 2012. Accomplished in both watercolour and oil, Michael has achieved an organized, confident way of working that most artists could learn much from. His experience enables him to work quickly outdoors to produce a successful finished painting needing only minimal retouching in the studio to complete it.Michael's Website
