Sorry to say that I didn't get one done. I'm organising an exhibition of photography for another artist and it's taken up the entire week. I hope that this continues and we can egg one another on another time.

Here are my last two. I was never good at math, so I think I've done 7! I only got to sketch today. The one was from Wed., but didn't get it up until now.

Ahhh! Nasty little bugs. I like the poem. Like the mosquitos in areas around the Outer Banks in North Carolina....they joke that they are the state bird.

Very nice sketches! What is a midge?

A great challenge, made myself go off down the fields behind my house and while sitting quietly I was lucky to see so much wild life up close - robin sat on the fence post, tiny mouse played around, 2 ducks flew over and then there were the midges. I found a lovely old apple tree at the back of an old house which is being renevated and hope to return there tomorrow with an oil board to have ago again. Any tips for those awful midges ? Did the one in Trim this morning and it was freezing cold - oil on board

I'm a day behind everyone else. Cringing at the thought of having to do two in one day.I'm no Micheal McGuire!!!The Challenge is great, makes us look harder for new sites.Well done everyone.
