Thank you Kyrle,it was a spur of the moment outing and I forgot my easel but compromise is often necessary. I used Golden Open and was surprised that they dried darker as i thought the colour shift wouldnt be too noticable but I had to re do the background trees once home. It's never ending learning curve.

The background is beautifully rendered here Norah, I didn't cop the blues and greens at first viewing, its a really nice painting, difficult in the heat acrylic is, but you cracked it!!
