Tony--David Diaz here, making plans for the paint out---hope all is well with you and you're not just working hard with your framing and gallery--get out there in the sun.

Would it be inconvenient to send my supplies to your gallery again--and if OK could you send the exact address again--it's apparently part of some clutter pile of mine.

Hi Tony

Am in Dun Laoghaire - just wondering if you could put me in touch with one or two members of the Dublin Plein Eire group?  Hope to get out painting in a day or two once I'm over jetlag and the weather improves.

Tony--congrats on the big win---and the video--was that the painting you won with?

Is this the first year for it--seem I saw it last year, but maybe just an ad. for it.  Is it as international as Art in the Open, which I have been promoting this year--some seeded interested.

Sounds like a nice opportunity to get the word out.  I'm looking forward to coming, looking at Irish travel books, etc. Right now I am figuring out the time after AITO.

Tony---actually a nice little paint out on the Potomac River--Artist Choice award--not a really large event---not a black tie.--------How are things there with you--heard the weather was warming nicely, so all should be out and beatin on those canvases. by the way--when I sent those pics to you waaaay back, did they finally come through, and by which email.

Hello Tony,.....even more lovely... thanks. I'm considering to join 'Art in the open' this year too, together with another painter-friend. But first I've to concentrate on the organisation here, I'll let you know in time. Only now I got me a glimp of your work....congratulations, very nice peaces ! If this is mostly about Wexford,....... I think my decision is mostly made to come this year. We'll have more contact,

Thanks Tony, Keep up the good work.  My kids and I really had fun watching Shaun the Sheep painting plein air last night.  I posted it on our site and a lot have already been watching.  Great fun when it is too cold to go out.

Tony, Yeah, coastal north county Dublin is my usual stomping ground - didnt want to drag the Plein Eire Dubliners too far from familair territory too early tho' they seem to want to stay central and near some shelter for the winter months!

Tony--Things are going well with us- I'm out painting or working with a couple of galleries( I do installations and organize exhibition year). But you're right, people ;and communities do pull back when things are tight. Having said that, I did just compete in Va . and took a juror's choice and sold 3 paintings, so I can't harp too much right now.

The exhibition is tomorrow in the evening, and I had already planned to be at a paint out during the day, so it could be a bit dicey, time-wise. I'll send the notice through the Pig yard Gallery site and you can decide how to use it, if at all.
About 80 percent of the work is those small pieces I did while there--so thanks again--the gift that keeps on giving.
Our mayor has been out trying not to default on city loans-while keeping the city in the same condition it has enjoyed--I have been back and forth with his rep, and hope to resolve it soon----and there will be a photo op--as soon as it happens, I will send image.
Now get out there and enjoy this extended nice weather you seem to be having. Did you get everything framed for the show--sounds like you are the go to guy--which is good.

Hi Tony
re Roundstone
I was there in July for the regatta - it lashed rain the whole day which was such a shame as usually there is great craic on the old quay . Everyone stayed in the pubs. The next day was calm, dry but cloudy with all the hookers tied up inthe harbour.

Tony, Re Rha Marathon - it was very poorly attended at 9 out of a capacity of praps 24 (the ones in the springtime were full); I'd say if you wanted to attend some of the one in Oct & Nov they'd now take partial bookings (something they told me they'd like not to earlier); I like to do the later half of the week as the poses are longer and one can chance a painting.

Tony,

I'll get onto Plein Eire website and put up a posting re last Sat's paint
out to Grand Canal Basin - I think we'd about 6 - down from the almost 20
from Farmleigh - but then perhaps some had put their nose out the door and
decided with the forecast that it wasnt worth it - and it wasnt! I thought
we'd escape the showers forcast (human nature tends to the optimistic -
fact!) but we didnt and it only got worse as the day progressed. (how do you
cope with bad forcasts? I've concluded that one had just got to ride them
out - go prepared with umbrellas etc - but cancelling within the last 12
hours due to a certain bad forcast might be difficult - to contact people
via mobiles etc - when there is no definitive list of attendees anyway -
tho' perhaps a warning in the Event on the website to check it 12 hours
beforehand might work?). Anyway next one is set for 12th Lock on the Royal
Canal at Castleknock for the first Sat in Nov.

I was wrecked last weekend and into this week after attending the RHA
marathon the week before - never experienced that type of exhaustion
before - usually all it takes is a night's sleep, or at most, a day's rest,
to get back in the saddle.

Yes I'd be interested in going to Roundstone in June too.

Best

Yes, Hungarian is difficult to learn, also for Hungarians, I think :) The Hungarian greeting was very kind of you :)
Best wishes,
