Oil on board, 10'' x 8''. Still struggling with my tones but much thanks to John Dinan for a fantastic course in Baldoyle - I now know where i want to go. Rosnaree Mill is a very old mill on the Boyne.

Norah and Kevin, thank you both for your comments and for the welcome back! i was holding myself in reserve until I had done John's course. So its all systems 'go' now. Yes I am looking forward to Wexford. Wondering about accommodation.

Know the feeling, apparantly in china you spend your first year at art college on drawing and tones - sounds like a good idea.  Good to see you out again, went to bluebell woods in Virginia few days ago and it is stunning at the moment. The indroduction of soft reds in your painting lifts the greens - have just been trying to get really dark green with watercolour and have found viridian, aliz crimson and bit of indigo are getting me the tone I want - johns courses are great but plein air is not easy !
