Julia................all you are missing out of this painting is Sally and myself freezing away at our easels, just under that tree to the right.lol.Other wise...........as usual its a masterpiece.

I like the bare  winter trees, almost personalities in themselves, and the way they contrast with the evergreen cypresses.  I like the strong contrasts between the tree and the roof of the mill-house and between the roof and its surroundings, all nicely nuanced in your vibrant watercolour technique.

Julia - dont know how you managed to stay on that cold hill doing this one, you always get lovely ;movement in your paintings and trees are not as easy to do as they look as I found out yesterday - lovely to be out at this time of year !
