18" x 12" oil on panel. This will have to be my last of 2012. A peaceful Sunday afternoon with a few SEPA diehards. The 3-track path delivers the eye to the 'pay-off' a bit too quickly so it probably needs some work to break it up a little. I scrawbed in 2 figures walking towards me with the back of the brush but preferred the lonely look of it and painted them out again. On an overcast day as this one you seem
to see local colour truer than in sunshine.
