Thanks for that comment Barra.  I was quite frustrated at not achieving the wonderful yellows of the seaweed.  It comes so easily to you as in Belmullet and the wonderful painting of a rock with all it’s colourful lichens in Roundstone.

I really like this, soft with relaxed atmos colours, the little portal or bearna in the wall, to a miniature landscape

That's stunning Sally, those blue greys and the whole feel of it is connemara. It would be wonderful worked up in to a large painting
