A tree so grand - altered photo art

An altered photo of 'The Fairchild Oak' not far from here. Our group spent the afternoon painting this amazing tree, and came away with more than just a few pieces of art! I had a lot of fun painting it and then at home using the photo to make this little graphic project. Anyway, I will post the artwork too, but to get back to the story, we all came home to discover we had been hosts to tiny ticks that crept up unaware as we sat that afternoon under the shade of this magnificent tree. I guess every good experience has its price!
