There's a UK plein air on facebook for actual paint-outs, although it seems to be a more regular and local, here in Ireland. Here. groups in different localities are painting every couple of weeks. Of course, there's nothing wrong with painting on your own or with perhaps just one pal for company. Many prefer it.
You have some lovely countryside around you. Stick with it (when it gets a little warmer and drier, perhaps) and remember to post your sketches or paintings here for some feedback and encouragement.
