Thanks for your friend invite. It's taken me a while to pluck up the courage to join Plein Eire. I'm a complete novice to painting & looking at the quality of members pictures is quite daunting - however I hope to keep painting over the winter months & meet up with members in the New Year for friendship & inspiration. Hope to meet you at one of the paint outs (Can't believe i'm talking about the New Year - it's only October!)

Hi Diedre,  I will be teaching a plein air painting workshop from May 24 - May 31 at the Boghill Centre in Clare.    Would love it if you might consider being part of the workshop.  If you are not interested in the class maybe you and a few other painters would enjoy getting together for a friendly paint-out  together?  would love to meet some Irish plein air painters!

Hi Deirdre! Havn't been Plein Eireing for ages, new year resolution is to get out there more!  Am planning an art course in my gallery in Tullyallen starting 5th Feb until 13th March, want to make it fun and experimental and gently tease people out of their comfort zone,while still adhering to good principles of drawing etc...a challenge!  all the best Mary McDonnell
