Thanks for making me 'official' :) Expect Deirdre and myself today in Slane for the usual enjoyable outing.  My watercolour classes in the Schoolhouse for art with Neil Condron and Dave Flynn are in full swing, and I am starting to loosen up and get the hang of the paint::).

Thank you for adding me , I painted with the south East group in Crosshaven yesterday and it was great to get out there , Im looking forward to doing lots more Plein Air painting.

Yes it's great to be here. Looking forward to the "Art in the Open" here in Wexford at the end of the month and meeting with lots of other national and international outdoor artists.

Thank you for the welcome, I really appreciate it, wish I could take part in your festival in August, unfortunately I rely  a lot on our lovely tourists here in Norfolk in August. Painting Out early mornings and evenings when the gallery is closed. Will see if I can plan ahead and come over and join in next year.

join an international group of artists staying at Altthymen Haus to paint the peaceful and undisturbed countryside of North Brandenburg. From just €45 per day including breakfast, for lunch there is a prepared brunch to serve yourself, evening meal, coffee and tea is everytime availablel. There is competion with a prize and  camaraderie and  a exhibition at the finale.Opening Event at 9th May in "Alte Reederei" in Fuerstenberg - Exhibition 14th May in the old Church in Altthymen - 17th May Opening and Prizing in Himmelpfort - Exhibition till the 30th of July - Some painting material is sponsored by Artselect like colors, boards, brushes, ...

Hi Admin (Tony?)  when I am posting a Blog is it possible to have one of the photos appear on the Main page under Latest Activity.  I spend ages preparing the blog and very few members look at it.

Also, I'm having a bit of a problem sending messages to members.  I usually cut and paste from Events to Groups and then send the message to members.  However, only some of the members are getting their message. I've checked my settings and can't see anything wrong.

Also, while I'm at it !,  I'm not getting email notifications either.  Could it have anything to do with my change of email address?

I am gearing up for a plein air event here in Colorado called the Douglas Land Conservancy and will be posting paintings as I do them from June 21 - 26. It's a beautiful area just south of Denver. Looking forward to it!

Thanks so much! I'm looking forward to the interaction. Just returned from a 4 week painting spree in Ireland. We rented a cottage outside of Bantry and I painted all over West Cork and Kerry. Had a great time but wish I'd known about this site. I didn't see another person painting.

If anyone ever comes this way, be sure to let me know and we can paint together - I have lived here for 14 years and there are many intriguing sites. I know it´s a long long way from Ireland ...but, not so far from Germany for example!

Thanks Tony.  I consider it a HUGE  honour to have been invited, and I have some enormous boots to try and fill.  The other artists ard all amazing.  I know four of them from AITO.
