    Hi Caroline,

Welcome to the Plein Eire site.

There are two groups you should consider joining, Plein Eire Dublin and Dublin Sketchers. Both are on our Groups page and joining them will ensure you get updates on paintouts and sketching trips. Both are free to join.

Here is a link to our 'Welcome Notes' page with site info.

NB Note one about profile images.

I hope you find the site leads to new friends and better paintings.

    All the best,

    Plein Eire Admin.

Hi Caroline. I might be a bit biased ...but if you can make it down for any of the Festival - you'll be delighted you did! We're kept going all year from the energy from it...and it's so inspiring to see so many great artists in one place. Hope you get a chance to experience some of it !

Good to meet you yesterday. I really like your very distinctive buildings /landscapes

  • Jeanean Songco Martin

Very nice work Caroline.  You have a "Hopperesque" feel to your architectural forms with your clean lines and simplified shapes.  Very lovely.

  • Jeanean Songco Martin

Thank you Caroline for you kind comments about my work.  I loved painting in that area.  I have very fond memories of Ireland.  Seems like the skies are very dramatic and have a look very different from where I live.  I think it has something to do with the rain.
