Hi Myles, re: Harvest Morn..- dimensions are 7x10inches. I've been using pre-primed paper for oil paint. Most shops should supply in pad form.(about 12 sheets) I can't remember the brand off hand, but I have noticed that different brands have a subtle difference of surface..so if you find one that works well for you , buy a number of them!!
The american painter Robert Henri spoke alot about "notes of colour".He is an influence on my work. The fleeting light here in the west of Ireland leaves me with no option but to get those "notes " down..............fast!
