I encourage everyone to do this and if you do get to a paint-out, you will find the benefit in that people will remember your name easier and vice versa. Also, consider that if you are meeting some group to paint outside, you would probably like some vague idea of whom you were going to meet? It is a two-way street, but of course, we don't insist.
Re Carlow, some will be going there (it sounds great) and more to Glendalough, while the Sou' Westers are off to Dunmanway all on the 12th so looks as if every man, woman and child who can lay hand to a brush will be out that day. Somewhere.
