I was just now talking to Noel Hayes , I'd  like the Robertstown canal area, (next week I will be able to travel). My best time is during the week (mid week ideally). All I ever need is take away coffee, nearby loo, shelter from the storm. Being in shouting distance of fellow artists is perfect. I'm now 2 weeks after my first vaccination and keep social distancing so all good for getting out I think.

Anyone interested in painting at Burtown House . Lovely gardens . Peaceful place. Home of the late wonderful botanical artist Wendy Walsh. Also her daughter artist Lesley Fennel. 

I'd love Burton house but sadly I'm in West Cork at moment and won't be back till early June, Sorry Bea

Always interested Bea. Also, I can arrange Irish National Stud whenever that might suit. 

That’s great Michael. When is the best time to go there. Are weekends busy?

It looks like a great location. Ill be starting to get out again in a few weeks hopefully, I was going to try nearby Castletown House as there are porta loos there as well as take away coffee etc. Hopefully we will all be out safely again soon

Loads, the canals - Hazelhatch, Sallins, Castletown, Maynooth but these are mostly in North Kildare which might be far to travel. I live in Leixlip and often paint locally midweek when able (recovering still from broken wrist so carrying stuff is a pain lol).

You are very welcome Caroline. Please suggest any painting locations you may have discovered. Is anyone available for mid week. 

Would Sallins suit anyone?
