  • Tony Robinson

Well I'd rather Carne than Lady's Island but Tom may be Carned out at this stage? If you don't fancy Wells today, there's The Safe at Rosslare, Barntown Quarry, Kilmore Quay,  the Heritage Parki or Eden Vale...??

  • Louise Treacy

  • Tomas King

I can.t be asked to make a decision, especially on a Sunday. Happy to go with the flow. Have never been to Barntown Quarry but have seen some very good paintings done there. I am happy with that if you are. Is there a pub in Barntown Quarry?

  • Tony Robinson

  • Michael McGuire

  • Louise Treacy

And you  are welcome to join me.

  • Michael McGuire

    I'll be there,

  • Tony Robinson

Not looking great yet, The wind id worse than the rain. I'm going to forget about it for the morning and look at it again at about 1pm.

  • Michael McGuire

I'd still go even as late as 4-00, if it clears by then, as forecast.

  • Plein Eire Administrator

    Anyone painting this weekend?

  • Michael McGuire

Yeah, I'd be on for a paint-out, unless the weather is terrible.

  • Karen Scannell

I've the studio open this weekend...I could nip over for an hour or so if anyone wants to paint in Carne ?

  • Louise Treacy

Im up fur it tryin to improve painting like a demon!!!! LOVING IT!!
  • Karen Scannell

  • Philip Dundon

Hi all...I have posted a paint-out in Ballyhack for next Sunday.....Hope you can come and join me event page

  • Karen Scannell

Anyone feel like a paintout this Sunday ?

  • Michael McGuire

Yeah, I think I could force myself out, weather permitting.

  • Louise Treacy

Somewhere not too far to drive would be nice!!!

  • Karen Scannell

I know George would like to paint too. .. how about the safe or lasts island, kilmore, ye could come back to mine if ye decide on a place close enough. ..or maybe blackwater for George ?
  • Michael McGuire

I'll paint anywhere, but let's find a place with some shelter if it's likely to be showery and/or windy.

  • Michael McGuire

Looks like the weather will be the same tomorrow as it is today, i.e. mild but some heavy showers around. At least it won't be cold, so I'm up for it. I don't like the safe though! Anywhere else is fine. If we go to Kilmore, we could have fish and chips!

  • Phil Hofler

Hi all have ye decided where to paint tomorrow?
  • Karen Scannell

I'm happy to do Kilmore..haven't been there in ages...does that suit everyone ?

  • Michael McGuire

    Kilmore it is then.

  • Michael McGuire

Tomorrow's Met Eireann forecast for Wexford is a mix of sunshine and showers with max temperature of 17C. A good summer's day then!

  • George McHugh

Meaning Kilmore Quay. ... or Kilmore?
  • Karen Scannell

I think Kilmore Quay would be an easy meet up point ?

  • Michael McGuire

Around 10-30am? I'll probably be there earlier.

  • Karen Scannell

Michael ..you don't have to get up at 5am anymore...and nothing will be under the bushes !

  • George McHugh

Sorry I won't make 10.30. I won't be there until 11.45. So back to my question: is the paintout in Kilmore or Kilmore Quay. And do you know where you'll be having a break?
  • Karen Scannell

Lets say 1pm lunch break outside the chipper ? Kilmore Quay

  • George McHugh

Ok. Paintout in KQ. Lunch 1 pm chipper
  • Lynne Mac Chonnchradha

    Hello All,

So sorry to miss tomorrow's outing, but as we are back in Wexford, I'll look forward to the next paintout.  Have a great time tomorrow... :+) Lynne

  • Michael McGuire

Thanks for reminding me of that, Karen. I'll have a lie in then and get up at 6-00 am. See you all tomorrow then.

  • Phil Hofler

    See y'all there!

    Grub and a Rub

Art in the Open Festival has had requests for offers of accommodation from a lady volunteer and a lady participant. The former, a qualified nurse, offers a couple of sessions of massage (Head, Swedish, Thai and Holistic Healing). The latter offers a little domestic work and to cook a couple of meals. If any locals have a spare billet for a fellow artist for the week, let me know and I can pass on details. Thanks!

  • David Goldberg

I have an apartment in Wexford from Saturday to Saturday which has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. I can offer it to this person at half the cost, but don't want any thai massage. She will be independent and can do her own things.

If you want to put her in touch with me.

  • Kevin Freeney

Dieuwer Elema from the Netherlands is looking for somewhere to park her camper bus during the festival somewhere central to Wexford town. She is booked into the park from Thursday to Sunday inclusive. Please leave a message here if you can help.
  • Plein Eire Administrator

Are there any parking permits this year?

  • Kevin Freeney

Should have definitive word on parking permits after tomorrow's meeting.
