“Painting the Parish” The Presbytery Harrington St Dublin 8

Re: Painting the Parish Art Exhibition. St Kevin’s Parish Hall, Sunday May 8th 2016

Dear Artist,

St Kevin’s historic parish is celebrating its 150th anniversary this year and to this end we are having a two day Plein Air painting event on Saturday May 7th and Sunday May 8th.

Artists may register by post or email forms to the adminstrators at the address above or to the following e-mail address: ineznordell@gmail.com Registration may be paid by cheque by post or by cash by those registering by email.

Artists must arrive on Saturday morning and will have their canvases stamped and signed by a committee member. Only stamped and signed works will be accepted for exhibition. Those registered artists taking part must execute a piece of art within the parish boundary on May 7th ..

Please bring your completed and framed paintings to St Kevin’s Parish Hall ready for hanging between 5.30 and 7.00pm on Saturday 7th May.

The exhibition of paintings executed and hung on May 7th 2016 will open at 11.30 noon on Sunday May 8th 2016 and continue until 6.00pm that evening. There is no admission charge to the exhibition.

Please collect unsold work between 6.00pm and 7.00pm on Sunday 8th May.

Each artist will show a maximum of two paintings. The exhibition organisers will not charge commission on sold paintings.

If you wish to register for the paintout which automatically allows you to exhibit your paintings in the Sunday Exhibition please return the form below in an envelope marked 'Painting the Parish' to the above address by 5pm on April 22nd 2016. By submitting a painting, you agree that Painting the Parish administration has no responsibility for any loss or damage to that painting. You may wish to consider insuring your paintings.

Hi Inez...your event is getting closer now...so a few questions...do artists have to go somewhere to register? What's the start and finish time? Is there a map boundary and is there news on the demos? Oh, and how much is it to register? Thanks!
