DESCRIPTION:The 12th Lock on the Royal Canal is an interesting locatio
 n for a paint-out. You have the choice of painting the tree lined cana
 l with nice water reflections. Plus the canal infrastructure of bridge
 s, locks, tow paths etc. Also at the lock are moored a large number of
  canal boats and barges in various states of  repair. We can meet up 
 at the 12th Lock Boutique Hotel. Breakfast is served up until 12 noon 
 and there will be a brunch and ala carte menu after that. I made it a 
 10 am meet up time so we can get the best of the day before light star
 ts to fade and weather disimproves. The location is assessable by road
  and also by train from Dublin city stations, Connolly etc. Get off th
 e train at Castleknock station, north side and walk along the canal to
