DESCRIPTION:Last January we visited Castlebellingham. It rained.  Las
 t week we were to visit Castlebellingham and ....it rained.  Lets try
  again?  Forecast is good.\n\nCastlebellingham is a quiet little vill
 age between Drogheda and Dundalk, not far from Annagassan (a favourite
  venue).  It won a silver medal in the Tidy Towns in 2012.\nThere has
  been a brewery in the village since 1770. The brewery was the main s
 upplier of drink to the Boer War troops.  Unfortunately, it no long
 er operates.\n \nUnfortunately it is the wedding season and the castl
 e grounds are not available this time.  BUT \nBeside the castle is a
 n enclave of Widow’s Almhouses, 4 or 5 very pretty cottages built at
  the beginning of 20thC. Local artist, Carolyn Hoey, has captured a co
 uple of them expertly in the attached photo\n\nAs usual we meet at 11 
 a.m. for coffee/breakfast, paint for a few hours and reassemble to rev
 iew the day. Venue is Foley's Tea Rooms, a long thatched building at t
 he north end of the village. To get to Castlebellingham from M1, trave
 lling north, exit at junction 15 and continue to Castlebellingham. Tur
