 e a little bit of Meath countryside with you.  Unfortunately the spec
 tacular display of hawthorn will probably be past its best but there i
 s plenty more to delight.\n\nWe meet at Broe, Newgrange for coffee at 
 11 a.m. Bring a picnic for your return at 3/3.30.\nDirections:\n From
  M1 – take Exit 10 and head for N51 to Slane.  After about 4 miles 
 and thatched pub on left turn left onto L1607.  At top of this road t
 urn left and continue until you pass Newgrange monument.  At the bott
 om of the hill turn left and continue to the very end of the cul de sa
 c.\n \nFrom N2 via Finglas and Slane – turn right at cross roads in
  Slane village and continue about 3-4 miles.  At galvanised shop (Smi
