DESCRIPTION:Start this year's COVID-reconfigured festival 'A Month of 
 Sundays' with Sunday 2nd August and again on Bank Holiday Monday in We
 xford Town. Both days are effectively a paint-out with an easel displa
 y and awards. Canvases and pads will be stamped at check-in and you ca
 n display your day's work on your own easel at teatime on both days\r\
 n.\r\nWexford town is, as always, at the heart of Art In The Open's fe
 stivities and lies at the mouth of the Slaney River. Founded by Viking
 s in 800AD, the town centres around a long main street parallel to the
  quayside and a series of narrow lanes down to the harbour. These lane
 s would have once reached water and been lined with boats. Today, they
  are brimming with old time pubs, art galleries, craft shops and celeb
 rated restaurants.\r\nWexford's natural harbour, once a major maritime
  port, now acts as a port for fishermen and a leisure spot for locals.
  Over the festival, the quays can be found dotted with easels. A beaut
 iful spot to unwind and take in the estuary, on clear days Raven Point
