Thanks all for your generous comments. It was such a wet and damp day I was really pleased with the way it worked out. I didn't approach it with the traditional washes, as I could see from Graham and Claudia that the washes were not drying, so I built it up with damp patches of pigment applied with a small flat brush. The green was a mixture of helio cerulean and raw sienna.
