Event Description

I am going out to sketch or paint tomorrow in Castletown House in Cellbridge, all are wellcome to join me. There is a bee keeping talk and demo on all day too so that could be of interest too. Meet at 10.30am or anytime that suits you but I will be out painting by 11am.

Comment by Norah Blount on August 18, 2017 at 16:46: Forecast is much same as today Catriona - Intervals of clouds and sun with a shower in spots; breezy (accuweather). I went out today and it was cool when the sun went in and a brolly is always good to have too.

There are a few exhibitions on - Grace Kelly photos in the house but I think you have to buy a tour ticket to see them and then there is a "Big Brick Exhibition" on in the farmyard -

The exhibition is fun, exciting and family friendly, and will be sure to amaze!

Featuring rare, unique and highly collectable toys, the exhibition includes famous world landmarks such as the Taj Mahal, Tower Bridge and Sydney Opera House. Children will be astounded when they recognise movie characters such as the loveable Minion Bob, the intimidating Darth Maul villain from Star Wars, and everyone’s favourite Sponge – SpongeBob SquarePants.
