Sorry about the misunderstanding on my behalf. It's been a few years since I did a complete painting outdoors but I am looking forward to joining in and having a go again. I will delete the images and if it's possible stay on as a member until my first genuine en plein air painting is complete, if this is allowed.

Ipads could be used for working outside, but unfortunately I don't have one yet and probably won't get one for a while, they are absurdly expensive! Maybe in the future.

I did consider plein air painting with my laptop but it seems like it'd be pretty cumbersome! I like the feel of the trad brush/paint/pastel anyway. I'm living in Galway at the moment and would love the chance to meet up with others who want to paint together. If there are any groups there, please let me know!

I am a member of the Lakeland Art Group. I became interested in plein air painting only in the last couple of years and it requires a huge effort on my part to get out there but when I do I really enjoy it.

Like Pat Cosgrove, I also did John Dinan's landscape painting course and loved it, so I am really looking forward to continue plein aire painting.

Just to say 'hello' and thanks for Welcome! I've just posted a few photos to make myself more colourful! I go out occasionally on Sundays with the Dublin sketchers and I attend life drawing sessions in the Trinity Arts Workshop & the United Arts Club. Great site, well done! Karmyl
