The group of trees and the cliff face below them leading me around to the lighhouse is beautifully composed and painted. Thanks Sally for the story, something we mothers are good at - picking out the thorns from delicate places

Great painting Joe. Great composition. Of course you know Howth Head intimately.  Im sure you remember the day when  a, probably 4 year old, tumbled off the path and headed straight down to the sea.  Luckily for the art world his fall was stopped by a gorse bush.  His mother was picking the black prickles out of his
face and hands for weeks afterwards. 

Great painting though.  You're as skilled in the oils as you are in watercolours.
