Pleasant day in Graiguenamanagh today. Spotted Michael Kehoe anf Mairead Holohan among the crowds of bookworms. I hope to return tomorrow hoping for a little more sun than today. The forecast is clear until late afternoon when there may be a shower. Coffee 10am - 11.15am at the Duiske Inn and meet up there again in late afternoon if you have Graiguenamanagh paintings to show. For those who prefer trees to narrow boats, join Jane Meyler for a paint-out at John F. Kennedy Park, New Ross for Heritage Week. See Jane's Facebook Page for further details.

It's starting today Friday so I presume we can go now?

Incidentally, the ready made frame sale at Spectrum in Wexford has a few left and lasts up until Friday. Buy the cheaper frame first and then do the painting to fit!

The organisers of the Festival of Books are inviting artists who participate in this paint-out to show their Graiguenamanagh paintings on Sunday evening at The Duiske Inn and some local businesses are apparently offering to continue to display ones they like for a few weeks on a minimal 10% commission basis should they be sold. Obviously that is up to you. But if there are paintings from the paint-out here earlier in the year you might like to frame them and possibly bring frames for any 'non-wipers' you can do at the weekend. I will post a time for the assembly on Sunday evening when I hear but let's assume from about 5pm.
