Event Description

On the very sad occasion of Terrence Gillespies funeral last Wednesday, the suggestion was made by Michael Keogh, that we have a paintout in The Irish National Stud, in remembrance of Terry. Michael has been kind enough to make the arrangements.

We suggest meeting  in the Irish National Stud Cafe from 11amam.  Exit M7 on Junction 13.

Hope you can make it there !

Thanks Sally, Val..it was a great idea of Michaels, and a lovely way to lift our spirits, and remember Terry.

Thanks to Michael and Karen for arranging the paint-out in the Japanese Gardens/National Stud In memory of Terry.  It was wonderful to meet Nancy.

The weather was kind, and Michael invited us to an amazing meal back in his house.  I wasn't expecting anything like that!  Thank you!!

I would have loved to go, but will be away. Thank you for the invitation, and a great way to remember a genuinely lovely gentleman.  Caroline Carroll.

Thanks for invitation Karen and Kevin. The paintout in the National Stud is a lovely idea.

Terence came to several of our paintouts and members of Boyne Valley were saddened to hear of his death.   Would it be agreeable to you for Boyne Valley to join you in the National Stud on Sunday?  Some of us who are already members of  SEPA  will be attending anyway and we look forward to seeing you.

I would also have loved to go Karen but thought it was on sat. I am helping out at a fundraiser on sunday next so cant make it.  The day he painted that one of Saint Fiacre was a lovely day - he went off quietly and found that lovely spot by the lake.

I would have liked to make this one but I have a prior engagement. However I will be painting with some friends who also knew him and we will be thinking of Terry.
