Thanks Sally, I liked this composition and think it could also work well with a different mood and colour scheme, which I might try in the studio.

Great to see the finished the painting John.  You've got a good busy feeling with the ship on the horizon and the Sunday crowds in the street.

Thanks Dick and Kevin. I had a nice raised perspective for this, as we had access to Howth Yacht Club and I was fortunate with the awning on the balcony to protect the paper from the drizzle. It turned out much better that I thought it would half way through!
