An hour spent sitting by the Shannon to capture the view as I was part of a ( well behaved !!) Hen Party that took a "Cruise" from the jetty up to Lough Ree the day before.. And this will accompany the cheque to the Little Hen on her Wedding in July...

Thank you Pat, Caroline and Sean...there were a few drops of rain.. I did have a brolley, just in case !!! And, as a Senior Hen, I wouldn't be that keen on having damp feathers !!

Disappointing to learn that that you were all  a  (well behaved)  Hen Party - but in the circumstances you yourself, did a beautifully  well-observed  watercolour and pen of the the  cathedral that calls our attention to something we would not normally focus on on.   Well done, Meg.
