SEPA is an association of amateur and professional painters who paint together regularly outdoors in S.E. Ireland. All artists are welcome. SEPA organises Ireland's 'Art in the Open' plein air festival. SEPA membership is free. NB. As with all Paint-Outs posted on Plein Eire, these events are simply notifications of intent by one individual to be at a particular place and time to paint. Each member's participation is entirely at his/her own risk. No responsibility for harm or loss of person or property on the part of anyone else is intended or implied.

Here are a few ideas for paint-out venues. Please add your own suggestions and we'll get a schedule together for the coming weeks. Your addfitional recommendations welcome.

Ballinkeele House

Newtownbarry House & Gardens

Dunamore Wood (Borodale) (no facilities)

Rosslare Harbour Lagoon

Tinahely

Wexford Beaches

Wexford Gardens

The Still Pond, near Enniscorthy

As ever, it is weather permitting, so in case the organiser needs to cancel, please indicate by RSVP for each event so a single message will let everyone know if an event is 'On' or 'Off'.

In particular, it seems smaller villages where we have access to coffee and a bite and a chance to say'hello' are sought-after venues. Here are some suggestions:

Yes, Kilmokea is on 10th. Foulksmills is tomorrow. But I'm asking anyone intending to go to Kilmokea next week to let me know this weekend so I can give an estimate to Emma at Kilmokea.

we're in - but its Sunday 10th innit? Dick has Foulksmills up for Sun 3rd April.

Early next week I will email Emma at Kilmokea with an idea of numbers attending next Sunday's Paint-out as she has kindly agreed to let our group in for no charge.. If you mean to go, please RSVP HERE. Thanks!

Yes, Enniscorthy is a good idea, Marja. Weather looks OK but, even if we get a few showers, at least it's possible to find some shelter there. I'll re-send the event as a group e-mail.

Posted Enniscorthy under events for this Sunday 6th March. Hope to see you all there. We will meet at the Cotton Tree Cafe at the old bridge at 11 am. The weather is looking good for Sunday.

Posted Kilmokea for 10 April. I'm a city boy and no good at gardening. Is this late enough for a decent showing?

Okay, lets have some other postings, starting this weekend...?

I'm sure if the weather is reasonably OK, we'll go somewhere.
